Estime & sens Philosophy
As a high school student, when choosing following my studies, I wanted to move towards the business of aesthetics. What I've always been sure of - which was deeply rooted in me - because of this need and the desire to do good to others. One day, I came to my father – a mechanics teacher in a vocational school – and told him that I wanted to become an aesthetician. Needless to say, I was apprehensive about his reaction! That's when he answered me : “My son, if all my students were as motivated as you are, I would be the happiest teacher ever”..
Diplomas in hand, I have worked for major French fragrance brands, an experience I adored. Without already having the idea of one day creating my brand, I have fed on luxury codes and everything that makes the success of these big names around the world. I then held a senior position in a large perfume brand. This experience gave me the opportunity to reflect on the relevance of the advice given to clients and to the true value of a product, after deducting the advertising I wanted to create my brand, a brand that would make sense, the values - the requirement, pleasure, respect, sincerity - would receive a new generation of 'consumer activists'. A cosmetics brand that wants mandatory biological - alerts on our health and the state of our planet leaving no alternative - but fine (it was not necessarily obvious at the time), with the results. So, imagine a global concept, dedicated to beauty specialists and well-being, including not only products but also personalized advice and cabin care protocols. All this with a quality / price ratio, so that "the best" can be made accessible to as many as the beauty, the self-esteem that these feelings engender, are in my opinion a must In 2010, with my wife Nathalie – and our 3 children, we create estimates & sensewelfare, which since has grown, with the will to assert itself on the segment of the Wellness ... but the question that each guide their day is always the same: "Who are we going to help today? ".

Our product research and development is always carried out according to the following principles: Each product has a main active ingredient, carefully selected and measured to provide a targeted solution to a skin problem and keep its promise. Each product is developed to be coherent with the other products in the range, in order to create synergies with the active ingredients and optimize their results on the skin.

COSMEBIO: the organic cosmetics label since 2002
Created in France, COSMEBIO is the first worldwide association specialized in natural and organic cosmetics.
The specifications, filed with the Ministry of Industry, allow certification bodies to use this standard as a basis for certifying all natural and organic cosmetics The COSMEBIO label highlight the best organic cosmetics and lists the most engaged brands.
To obtain the COSMEBIO label on its packaging, a natural or organic cosmetic must meet certain criteria:
- 95% minimum of the ingredients of the total product must be of natural origin (with water and mineral or mineral-based ingredients considered as natural)
- 95% minimum of the plant-based ingredients must be organic
- 10% minimum of the ingredients of the total product must be organic (with water and mineral or mineral-based ingredients considered as non-organic because they are not derived from a life form)
- Out of the total product, limitation of the petrochemical origin (list of authorized ingredients with maximum dosage), which ultimately amounts to a minimum of approximately
- 95% of ingredients of natural origin
- 95% minimum of ingredients which can be organic must be organic (such as plant material, beeswax, milk...)
- 20% minimum of the ingredients of the total product must be organic (10% for rinse-off products and minerals considered as non-organic because they are not derived from a life form)

Created in 1991, ECOCERT is the French specialist in the certification of products from organic farming.
ECOCERT has contributed to the development of organic farming by participating in the drafting of French and European regulations, and still operate with the Ministry of Agriculture, the INAO and the European Commission to support the development of this production method.
As a certification body specialising in organic farming, Ecocert verifies in the field that the Organic Farming Regulations are respected by the producers and manufacturers who are engaged to this approach. ECOCERT issues logos and certification documents that attest to this compliance.
By winning the trust of professionals and consumers, Ecocert has become a reference, and certifies in France nearly 65% of producers and 60% of processors in organic agriculture.

Each estime&sens's product is dreamed, designed and developed in our laboratory in Sautron, next to Nantes.
Production and packaging are made in France, in two different locations: Sautron and Britany (west part of France)- Proximity is essential to ensure quality.
To guarantee all the qualities of freshness (product, packaging), our cosmetics are manufactured and managed in voluntarily limited quantities. Thus, our stock is constantly renewed.
Self-esteem, an ally to healing !
« The ideal of estime&sens is to make healthy, effective, high quality and nature-friendly beauty products accessible to as many people as possible. Contributing to the physical and psychological well-being improvement of sick people, helping them recover their self-esteem and fully become agent of their own healing that way, is totally embedded in that ideal. So as to make it concrete, we decided to donate a part of our sales profits to socio-aesthetic services existing in some hospitals. It is our way to support those who have been stricken with ill-health, to bring them some comfort, a kind of ease, and help them in their struggle »
